Dialogue on Enhancing Food Production, Gender Equality and Nutritional Security in a Changing World

Alberta, Canada April 30 – May 2, 2014    

Deadline:  9 February 2014

You are encouraged to submit an abstract by 9 February 2014 for a selected paper or poster on one of the following four themes:

1. Sustainable agricultural systems -- agronomy, livestock systems, aquaculture and animal health within the broader context of sustainable agricultural systems.

2. Gender and livelihoods -- gender, social protection, and specialization vs. diversification of livelihoods.

3. Nutritional security -- relations between food, agriculture, health and nutrition.

4. Economics, value chains and policy -- micro-economic analysis, value chain and market studies, macro-level studies, quantitative and qualitative policy studies.

Submissions should include a title, authors’ names and institutional affiliations, a summary of less than 200 words, and a biography of less than 100 words for the presenting authors.
